Suspected suicide bombing at police headquarters in Indonesia’s Medan


JAKARTA (Information) – A blast exterior the police headquarters within the Indonesian metropolis of Medan in North Sumatra is a suspected suicide bombing, a police spokesman mentioned on Wednesday.

Tatan Dirsan Atmaja, a spokesman for the North Sumatra police, mentioned by phone that the suspected suicide bomber had died within the assault. He mentioned some cops had been wounded within the blast that occurred at eight:40 a.m. (0140 GMT).

Numerous Indonesian tv channels confirmed footage of individuals speeding out of buildings across the headquarters.
