South Korea, U.S. protection chiefs reaffirm dedication to defend in opposition to North Korea

SEOUL (Information) – The protection chiefs of South Korea and the USA reaffirmed on Friday U.S. dedication for the protection of South Korea in opposition to North Korea and efforts to denuclearize the North, the South’s Protection Minister Jeong Kyeong-doo mentioned.

Jeong mentioned he and U.S. Protection Secretary Mark Esper shared the view that a cost-sharing pact for U.S. troops stationed in South Korea, which is now being negotiated, ought to be honest and mutually agreeable.
