Czech former world quantity 4 Berdych publicizes retirement

LONDON (Information) – Former world quantity 4 and Wimbledon runner-up Tomas Berdych has introduced his retirement from tennis.

The Czech, who received 13 ATP singles titles in a 17-year-long profession, was a fixture on this planet’s prime 10 between 2010 and 2016.

Berdych’s one Grand Slam remaining got here in 2010 when he was overwhelmed by Rafael Nadal on the All England Membership.

He was a part of the Czech aspect that received back-to-back Davis Cup titles in 2012 and 2013.

The 34-year-old Berdych, who has not performed since shedding within the first spherical of the U.S. Open in August, introduced his resolution on the ATP Finals on Saturday.
