Airbnb’s Belinda Johnson to step down as COO, be part of board

(Information) – Airbnb stated on Friday Belinda Johnson will step down as chief working officer in March and be part of the house rental firm’s board.

Johnson, the corporate’s first govt rent, stated in a word to Airbnb staff that she is stepping down from the position to spend extra time together with her household.

“Contributing to the long-term success of Airbnb whereas taking extra time to be with my superb household is an unbelievable alternative,” she stated.

Johnson joined Airbnb in 2011, main its efforts in working with governments on insurance policies associated to dwelling sharing.

She is shifting out of the manager position at a time when Airbnb is getting ready to listing its shares in 2020.

Johnson has additionally served on the board of PayPal Holdings Inc.
