WASHINGTON (Information) – President Donald Trump mentioned on Friday his administration would take a “good luck” at a Hong Kong invoice that handed the U.S. Congress almost unanimously, as lawmakers awaited his resolution on whether or not he would signal it into legislation or concern a veto.

Requested if he was going to signal the laws, Trump mentioned: “It’s being despatched over (to the White Home). We’re going to take an excellent take a look at it.”

If Trump have been to concern a veto, it might take two-thirds majorities in each the Home of Representatives and Senate to override it and permit the invoice to develop into legislation. The invoice would require tighter scrutiny of whether or not Hong Kong has retained its autonomy.
