Invoice for brand spanking new elections in Bolivia sails by Congress


LIMA (Information) – Each chambers of Bolivia’s Congress unanimously handed laws on Saturday to annul the contested Oct. 20 elections and pave the way in which for a brand new vote with out former president Evo Morales, a breakthrough within the political disaster.

Interim President Jeanine Anez, a former senator and opponent of Morales, has indicated that she is going to signal the legislation so it could actually go into impact, although it was not clear when.

Passage of the invoice comes as anti-government demonstrators lifted highway blockades to carry talks with Anez geared toward ending weeks of unrest which have left greater than 30 useless in clashes with safety forces.
