5 installations at Miami artwork week 2019

Instagram’s @design sales space by Studio Swine

British-Japanese design duo Studio Swine has made inflatable bubbles to kind the exhibition area for Instagram‘s inaugural exhibition at Design Miami. Made out of PVC, which Instagram says is 100 per cent recyclable, the sales space will host work by designers Yona Care, The Alleles Design Studio, Kano and Deva Pardue below the theme “design for all”.

Order of Significance by Argentinian artist Leandro Erlich contains 66 sand-covered sculptures of vehicles and vans parked alongside Lincoln Street seashore. The mission was curated by Ximena Caminos and commissioned by Metropolis of Miami Seaside.

The Backyard of Magnificence by Marc Ange

Designer Marc Ange, best-known for the Instagrammable pink Le Refuge canopy, has taken over Italian interiors firm Visionnaire’s showroom with The Backyard of Magnificence. The plush exhibit will debuts Ange’s Il Pavone – a collection of ornamental furnishings influenced by peacock feathers.

Please Be Seated by Les Ateliers Courbet and Thirlwall Design 

New York design gallery Les Ateliers Courbet and design studio Thirlwall Design have teamed as much as current designs from French filmmaker Jacques Tati’s 1958 movie Mon Oncle, which interprets as My Uncle. It features a rocking chair, a seat and a bench produced by design studio Domeau & Pérès and Tati’s property.
