Pupil, officer wounded in second Wisconsin faculty taking pictures


(Information) – An armed scholar confronted a police officer and each had been wounded on Tuesday within the second highschool taking pictures in Wisconsin in two days, each of which prompted lockdowns.

Gunfire rang out at Oshkosh West Excessive Faculty, about 85 miles (137 km) north of Milwaukee, wounding the scholar and the varsity useful resource officer, each of whom had been rushed to the hospital, Oshkosh Police Division stated on Fb. About 1,700 college students are enrolled on the faculty.

A day earlier a 17-year-old scholar was shot and wounded inside Waukesha South Excessive Faculty, about 20 miles (32 km) west of Milwaukee, by a police officer after bringing a handgun into the constructing and failing to adjust to orders to give up the weapon. Police stated the scholar pulled out a handgun and didn’t reply to the varsity useful resource officer’s insistence that he give it up.

In each incidents, a single scholar was injured, police stated. Moreover, in Oshkosh, the varsity useful resource officer was injured.

Oshkosh mother and father had been suggested to reunite with their youngsters at Perry Tipler Center faculty.
