China’s Didi Chuxing restarts night Hitch service

BEIJING (Information) – Chinese language trip hailing big Didi Chuxing stated on Friday it will restart its night Hitch service in some cities, with improved security options and extra rigorous driver and passenger verification procedures.

Drivers and passengers who meet the necessities might use the service between 20:00 to 23:00, Didi stated in a put up on Weibo.

The transfer comes after the coronavirus epidemic battered demand in China for ride-hailing companies.

Didi, which is backed by Japan’s SoftBank, launched supply companies in 21 Chinese language cities this month, in a transfer it hopes will present its drivers with extra earnings.

Didi relaunched Hitch in November after it suspended the service in 2018 following the homicide of a feminine passenger by her driver.
